Child & Family Health
Services (CFHS) is a grant project funded by the Ohio Department of Health. This
program helps to eliminate health disparities and improve access to health care
for low-income women, infants, and children. Locally, the Wayne County Family &
Children First Council oversees the project. |
Wayne County CFHS’s grant
project objectives:
Perform ongoing community health assessment and planning
Improve access to child and adolescent health services
Improve immunization
rates
Reduce childhood lead poisoning
Reduce the percentage of
children who are overweight
Ensure that social/emotional needs of children and adolescents are met (Bullying Prevention provider training)
