Healthy Start

  • Health care coverage for children from birth to 19 years

  • Income guidelines recently changed, making more children eligible to receive health benefits

  • This coverage is at NO or VERY LOW COST to you!

Healthy Start for Pregnant Women

  • Babies born to mothers on Healthy Start are covered for at least one year.

  • A pregnant woman carrying one child is considered a family of two.

  • A pregnant woman can have an annual income if $17,415 and still qualify for Healthy Start. Pregnant women under 19 years old can have an annual income of $23,220 and still qualify.

Healthy Families

  • Health care coverage for the entire family - parents AND children

  • Eligibility based on household size and family income.
